Working at the Frontline

Frontline Security really are ‘Frontline’ these days as we are working on many of the biggest HSE Testing and Vaccination centres across the City. We have been present on the Croke Park, Swords Exhibition Centre and DCU Test sites since they first opened.

This was a challenging task as we took care of the hundreds of thousands of people who came through the gates. We are now to be seen at the biggest vaccination centre in Dublin.

The Helix at DCU commenced operations in mid- February and is capable of administering 5000 doses a day. We are proud to be playing our part in the fight against this pandemic.

COVID-19 and Construction Security

Frontline Security are experts in all aspects of modern construction security. We have an exceptional record of success in some major schemes that have been completed recently. The MSD project in Swords was the largest commercial building site in Ireland while under construction with 12,000 workers present each day. Initially, we were employed on the car parks, entrances, perimeter and the site itself.

But as the Covid epidemic appeared and grew we soon had another major role to play. That of Disease Prevention Officer. Our training unit was soon very busy teaching dedicated staff on how to deal with this threat in order to keep the site open.

We swopped our orange vests for green ones. Now we were checking temperatures, using questionnaires, controlling access to the canteens, toilets, smoking and communal areas as well as patrolling the site itself to ensure that all of the disease prevention protocols were maintained. It was a huge success. The site remained open and was completed on time.

Our clients were delighted and we were very highly praised for our work. Frontline Construction workers and management are all fully licenced, have Safepass accreditation and have a wealth of experience in the many aspects of construction security.
